Catherine Farrington started her career in Seattle at NBBJ Architecture, designing interiors for large scale commercial clients such as Swedish Hospital, Federal Reserve Bank, and Starbucks. Recognized for her outstanding design achievements, she received the International Interior Design Association Award in 1997. Catherine left the firm after many years of learning and creating to join Domestic Architectural where she worked with renowned artist Roy McMakin. While at Domestic Architecture she worked on luxury residential interiors and furthered her knowledge of custom furniture design. In 2000, she founded Catherine Farrington Interior Design.
Catherine holds degrees from the University of Puget Sound and Bellevue College, and is an Associate Member of the IACC—the International Association of Color—where she studied under the late Dr. Frank Mahnke.
Catherine’s work has been featured in Interior Design and Architecture Record magazines and has also received recognition by the AIA and International Interior Design Association.
